The Unspeakable Oath is conducting a subscription drive. The goal of the drive is to get some cash into the magazine’s coffers so they can continue publishing their ode to Call of Cthulhu and Lovecraftian gaming. The drive is organized into tiers; at 150 subscribers folks get the Delta Green short story “Down on the Delta” by Adam Scott Glancy. At 300 subscribers, you get “In the Court of the King in Yellow” a play by John Scott Tynes, at 450 the reward is “Jack Frost”, a Call of Cthulhu adventure by Shane Ivey, and the top reward — at 600 subscribers — nets you “The Ixiptla,” a scenario by Jason Morningstar.
As of today (8/29/2013) the drive stands at 241. I’m considering getting it — I love print magazines, and I’ve been looking for a replacement for Kobold Quarterly. While I rarely run CoC these days, Delta Green is still a favorite of my group and there’s been talk of running a Call of Cthulhu one-shot or double-shot.
